Our Story

We are the “lazy farmers” from Wild Rebel Farmhouse. Tony, Brittany, little Pepper, 100+ farm animals & one 1935 Depression Era farmhouse live in middle Tennessee, just south of Nashville. We are your classic “wanna-be” farmers, trying to grow our own food and usually failing miserably. Hey, no one said growing vegetables was easy. We are enjoying the process of learning how to garden, farm and restore/renovate our old farmhouse. And so far…we’ve learned a lot!

Along with being lazy farmers, we are passionate entrepreneurs. Since moving to Tennessee, we fell in love with the rolling hills and all the old farmhouses. This obsession turned into wanting to help others discover their dream home here in Tennessee. Anthony does real estate full time & Brittany helps Anthony stage homes, care for clients and is the real estate marketing mastermind.

Being passionate entrepreneurs we love to support others in our community doing the same. We recently started a series on our YouTube channel that allows us to share the stories of those in middle Tennessee who are rising to success as local business owners.

The Lazy Farmer

Tony likes to joke that he is the “lazy farmer” since he is definitely not your typical farmer. He left the corporate world over a year ago for a slower paced life in the country. His days are spent drinking lots of good organic coffee, working with AMAZING real estate clients, helping them find the perfect place to call home, making YouTube videos, tending to the animals, tractor work & homeschooling the very adorable little Pepper. Oh AND he also builds stuff, a lot of stuff! Chicken coops, tables, chicken tractors, duck houses…the list goes on and on.

Brittany is a dreamer. She is usually brewing up crazy ideas that she then tells Tony, and he usually has “no comment”. But then before he knows it, he’s working on her next “BIG” idea! That’s teamwork for you and a super awesome husband! She’s a formal wedding photographer, she studied art and experimental film at the Peck School of the Arts. She spends her days working as a #bossmom – running her essential oils business, staging homes, being a marketing mastermind, planning community events, attempting to garden, cooking, and MOST importantly taking care of the little Pepper (the cutest kid in the world) along with the 100+ animals on the farm. She’s obsessed with natural health & old houses. (It’s a good combo!) She’s known to her friends as the witch doctor, as she is often brewing up old herbal “potions” and natural remedies for all the things.
